Integration
Alenta for Notion
Alenta turns your website into an active sales representative — an AI agent that answers visitor questions, qualifies leads and books appointments. Connect Notion and it answers from the documentation you already maintain, instead of a copy of it.
What the connection does
Answers from your own docs
Pages you share are converted to text and indexed into the agent's knowledge base, so replies cite your documentation instead of guesswork.
Read-only, and only what you pick
Alenta reads pages and their content. It never creates, edits, comments on or deletes anything, and it only sees the pages you select during authorization.
Stays current on its own
A scheduled sync runs every 30 minutes and re-fetches only pages edited since the last run. You can also trigger a sync from the dashboard at any time.
Revoke whenever you want
Revoking the connection from Alenta stops all syncing immediately and deletes the stored access token. You can also remove access from Notion's side.
How to connect
Open your agent in Alenta
Sign in, pick the agent you want to give Notion knowledge to, and open its Data sources tab.
Click Connect Notion
In the Knowledge connectors section, choose Notion. You'll be handed off to Notion to authorize.
Choose what to share
On Notion's consent screen, select the pages and databases Alenta may read. Nothing outside that selection is ever accessible.
First sync runs automatically
You land back in Alenta with the connector marked Active. Once the first sync finishes, your agent can answer from those pages.
Access and data handling
- Alenta requests read access only. The integration cannot write to, comment on or delete anything in your workspace.
- Access is scoped to the pages and databases you select when you authorize. Adding a page later means sharing it with the integration in Notion.
- Page text is stored in your Alenta workspace so the agent can search it. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to the browser.
- Revoking the connector deletes the stored token and stops every future sync, including the scheduled one.
