What it is
Each business on Alenta can switch on an official MCP connector. With it, people can ask about the business, check prices and policies, check appointment times and book, or leave a message, from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other MCP clients.
- No sign-in is needed. End users don’t create an Alenta account.
- Only the business’s public information is exposed: what it already shows customers on its website.
- Each connector belongs to one business. It can’t read other businesses or any Alenta account data.
Connector URL
Every business has its own URL in this format:
https://alenta.ai/api/mcp/<business-slug>
Where to find it:
- As a customer: the business shares it, for example with an “Add to Claude / ChatGPT” button on its website.
- As the business owner: in the Alenta dashboard, open your agent, then Deploy → AI Connectors, and copy the URL.
Add it in Claude
From the Claude directory
- Open the connector directory in Claude and search for “Alenta”.
- Choose Connect and paste the business’s connector URL when asked.
As a custom connector
- Go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste the business’s connector URL and save. No authentication is needed.
Add it in ChatGPT and Perplexity
ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Turn on developer mode under Advanced if the option to add a custom connector isn’t shown.
- Create a new connector, paste the business’s connector URL, and choose no authentication.
Perplexity
- Open Settings → Connectors and add a custom remote connector.
- Paste the connector URL, set transport to Streamable HTTP, and authentication to none.
Other MCP clients work the same way: add a remote server with the URL, Streamable HTTP, no auth.
Tools
Read tools only return information. Write tools send something to the business, so your AI app should confirm with you before using them. A business can switch off any tool, so you may see fewer than listed.

Appointment tools
These only appear when the business has appointments switched on and has bookable services.
list_servicesReadBookable services
Services you can book, with duration and price.
check_availabilityReadCheck open appointment times
Open times for a service on a given date.
book_appointmentWriteBook an appointment
Creates a booking request with the business using the details you give.
cancel_appointmentWriteCancel an appointment
Cancels an upcoming booking. Needs the booking reference (APT-…) and the email it was booked with.
Data and privacy
- Alenta receives only what your AI app sends in a tool call, such as your question, or your name, contact details and message. It does not receive the rest of your conversation.
- Messages and booking requests go to the business you sent them to.
- Rate limits apply to every connector to prevent abuse. If you hit one, wait a moment and try again.
See the Privacy Policy for details.
For business owners
In the Alenta dashboard, open your agent and go to Deploy → AI Connectors. From there you can:
- switch the connector on or off;
- switch off individual tools you don’t want AI apps to use;
- copy your connector URL to share with customers.
Appointment tools follow your agent’s appointment settings.
